1 November, 2014 – Present, The founder of Yihe Image Based in Beijing Yihe Image is an independent organization promoting news photography international exchange between China, America and Europe. As the founder of Yihe, for consecutive four years(by 2018), Li Qiang has helped more than 3000 Chinese photographers from over 200 news media and independent studios to participant Picture of the Year International in America, and World Press Photo. Because of his achievements in organizing international photography workshops and activities, Li Qiang received exclusive interviews from Time Magazine, Washington Post, and numerous Chinese mainstream media. 2 December, 2015- present: New York Times Freelance photographer for New York Times Based in China As a freelance photographer for New York Times, Li Qiang’s works on breaking news and important current affairs all around China were appeared in covers and important sections in New York times. 3 January, 2012 – November, 2014 China Newsweek Magazine Vice Director of Photography Department at China Newsweek Magazine(中国新闻周刊) Based in Beijing. 4 July, 2008 – January, 2012 The Beijing News (新京报) Photojournalist Based in Beijing Li Qiang’s photography works have been widely published in Chinese and international mainstream media such as Reuters, AFP, Time, USA TODAY, Washington Post, New York Times, etc.

[ RECREATIONAL & TRADITIONAL SPORTS ] A single photograph that celebrates the role sports play in the community. Images may show the emotional highlights of players on the field or the reactions of fans. Local, traditional, and obscure games which are often neglected in mainstream media are welcome in this category. The pictures must be from non-professional settings. Each participant is allowed to enter up to 10 images. The images must be taken in 2021.
