[ Singapore, SINGAPORE ] A Bangladeshi migrant worker tears up after a nasopharyngeal swab at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Singapore, on April 28, 2020. The swab test collects a sample of nasal secretions from the back of the nose and throat, causing a discomfort to nerve endings that elicits tears and coughing. As of December 2020, 47 per cent of migrant workers living in dormitories have had a Covid-19 infection.
