Garden Ducks. Except for essential activity, people were encouraged to stay home and not go out during the Circuit Breaker period in Singapore from April to June 2020. For most of us, our everyday work and social patterns needed to adapt. Outdoor exercise, at least socially distanced, was allowed. This was taken during a brisk morning walk near my neighbourhood. You begin to notice new things and patterns – this neighbour would regularly re-arrange their garden decor and pots.
Daisuke Chew has a background in architecture. A graduate of Cornell University School of Architecture, Art and Planning, he has worked at various architectural and design-related firms in the US and Singapore.
